Unitree G1+ Review Summary
The G1+ keeps the size of the G1, 1340 mm and about 35 kg, and improves the parts that limited it. The head now moves on two axes and carries a stereo camera and a wide-angle camera. Shoulder and waist motors have 110% more peak torque and produce 72% less heat at the same torque, and arm motors have 43% more torque. A six-microphone array, waist speakers, head touch sensing and external power for long sessions are added. Runtime is about two hours. As with the G1, hands and development access are reserved for the EDU version, whose price is on request.
Pros
US$15,000 for a full humanoid
Two-axis head with stereo vision
Much stronger, cooler shoulder and waist motors
External power option
Folds for transport
Cons
No hands on the base version
Development only on the EDU
About 2 hours of runtime
8-month warranty on the base version
Who It Is For
It fits universities and developers on the EDU version, and organizations that want a capable humanoid for demonstration on the base version.
