Unitree D2 Review Summary
The D2 is an arm for robots, not for a factory bench. It runs directly from a 36 to 58 V battery, weighs under 6 kg and can be mounted upright, sideways, hanging or on a mobile platform, which makes it a natural partner for quadrupeds such as the B2. Seven axes give it the redundancy of a human arm.
Pros
Seven axes
5.9 kg with 3 kg payload
Runs from battery voltage
Several mounting positions
Drag teaching and SDK
Who It Is For
It fits developers who need an arm on a mobile robot, especially on Unitree's own quadrupeds.
