LMI Gocator 2600 Review Summary
A laser line profiler measures the shape of a part as it moves under a line of laser light, and the Gocator 2600 series does this at high resolution: each profile contains up to 4192 points. The eight models cover fields of view from about 10 mm to 2 m, so the same family serves tiny electronic parts and large panels. Like other Gocator sensors these are smart sensors, with measurement tools and decision logic inside the device and a browser interface for setup. Blue-laser models suit shiny and dark surfaces.
Pros
Up to 4192 points per profile
Eight models from 10 mm to 2 m field of view
Measurement and decision logic inside the sensor
Scan rates up to 10,000 Hz
Blue-laser options and protective covers
Cons
Highest scan rates only with a reduced field of view
Who It Is For
The series fits manufacturers and integrators who need high-resolution 3D measurement of parts moving on a production line.
