LMI Gocator 2500 Review Summary
The 2500 series is the fast line in the Gocator range. Where the 2600 series puts resolution first, the 2500 puts speed first: every model reaches 20 kHz in its high-speed configuration, including scanning, measurement and pass or fail decision. Blue lasers with special optics handle dark and mirror-like surfaces, and two models, the 2512 and 2522, are made for specular targets such as glass and polished metal. Fields of view run from 13 mm to about half a metre.
Pros
20 kHz inspection speed on every model
Blue laser for dark and shiny targets
Models for specular surfaces
Measurement and decision logic inside the sensor
Browser setup and multi-sensor support
Cons
1920 points per profile, fewer than the 2600 series
Who It Is For
The series fits manufacturers who must inspect every part on a fast line, especially in electronics and battery production.
