LMI Gocator 2300 Review Summary
The 2300 series is the long-standing workhorse of the Gocator family. It doubles the lateral resolution of the entry-level 2100 series while keeping the same seven fields of view, from 18 mm to more than a metre. LMI describes it as suited to high-speed, high-volume applications. Like the rest of the family it measures inside the sensor and is certified for Universal Robots. Newer lines exceed it: the 2400 has a 2-megapixel imager and blue lasers, and the 2500 is faster.
Pros
1280 points per profile
Seven models up to 1260 mm field of view
Measurement inside the sensor
Universal Robots+ certified
Interchangeable geometry with the 2100 series
Cons
Exceeded by the newer 2400, 2500 and 2600 lines
Who It Is For
The series fits manufacturers who want a proven general-purpose 3D profiler with more detail than the entry line.
