ATI Industrial Automation Theta Overview
Discontinued model: no longer part of the current ATI product range. The ATI Theta is a six-axis force/torque sensor with a 155 mm diameter and a 61.1 mm height, measuring forces from 1000 N to 2500 N in Fxy and torques from 120 Nm to 400 Nm across its three calibrations. It is designed for high-load robotic tasks that need force feedback, such as assembly and material removal. The transducer weighs 4.99 kg including its standard interface plates and is machined from high-strength stainless steel. Its successor is the Omega160, which is lighter and lower but has a different mounting interface.
