ATI Industrial Automation QC-41 Overview
Discontinued model: no longer part of the current ATI product range. The ATI QC-41 is a pneumatic robotic tool changer with a suggested payload limit of 50 kg (110 lb) and static moment capacities of 157 Nm in X/Y and 216 Nm in Z. It is designed for automatic exchange of end-of-arm tools on medium-payload robots, using a fail-safe locking mechanism that develops 4450 N of locking force at 5.5 bar. The master plate weighs 1.36 kg and the tool plate 0.77 kg, and the coupling repeats to within 0.0152 mm. Six 3/8 NPT and four 1/8 NPT pneumatic ports pass through the changer. Its successor is the QC-40Q, which is interchangeable and adds integrated lock and unlock sensing.
