ATI Industrial Automation Omega160 Overview
The ATI Omega160 is a six-axis force/torque sensor with a 157 mm diameter and a 55.9 mm height, measuring forces from 1000 N to 2500 N in Fxy and torques from 120 Nm to 400 Nm across its three calibrations. It is designed for high-load robotic tasks such as force-controlled assembly, material removal and product testing, and an optional 53 mm through-hole lets cables and utilities pass through the centre. The transducer weighs 2.72 kg including its standard interface plates and is wire-cut from high yield-strength stainless steel. It withstands single-axis overloads of 18000 N in Fxy and 48000 N in Fz, and IP60 and IP65/IP68 versions extend its use to dusty and wet environments.
