SMC MHF2 Overview
The SMC MHF2 is a low-profile two-finger parallel pneumatic gripper available in bore sizes of 8, 12, 16, 20, 25 and 32 mm, with a gripping force per finger of 19 N to 400 N at 0.5 MPa and a repeatability of ±0.05 mm. Each size comes in a short, medium and long stroke, giving opening/closing strokes from 8 mm up to 128 mm. Its flat body is designed for installations with little height above the workpiece, and for parts of differing widths. The gripper weighs between 65 g and 3,200 g and runs double acting on unlubricated compressed air at 0.1 to 0.7 MPa (0.15 to 0.7 MPa for the 8 mm bore) at -10 to 60 °C.
