SMC LEHF Overview
The SMC LEHF is a two-finger electric gripper with a long opening/closing stroke of 16 to 40 mm in the basic version and 32 to 80 mm in the long-stroke version, a gripping force of 3 N to 180 N across the four body sizes (10, 20, 32 and 40) and a repeatability of ±0.05 mm. It is designed for gripping workpieces of widely differing dimensions with one tool, with position, speed and force programmable at up to 64 points. The gripper weighs between 340 g and 2,500 g, is driven by a 24 VDC step motor with servo control and operates at 5 to 40 °C. It is run from an SMC step motor controller with parallel I/O or a fieldbus connection.
