SMC ZXP7 Overview
The SMC ZXP7 is a vacuum gripper unit for collaborative robots that lifts workpieces of up to 7 kg with as many as four suction cups of 8 to 32 mm in diameter. A vacuum ejector, supply and release valves and a pressure sensor are built into the unit, so it needs only a compressed air line and a 24 VDC connection. It is designed for pick-and-place, palletising and packaging of flat or smooth-surfaced parts. The ejector reaches -84 kPa with a suction flow of 17 L/min and an air consumption of 57 L/min at a supply pressure of 0.3 to 0.55 MPa, and the unit operates at 5 to 50 °C. Versions are available for Universal Robots, FANUC CRX, OMRON and Techman TM, Yaskawa MOTOMAN-HC10DT, Mitsubishi MELFA ASSISTA and Kawasaki duAro robots.
