Cognex In-Sight 9000 Overview
The Cognex In-Sight 9000 is a series of rugged, ultra-high-resolution 2D vision systems with a 12 MP area scan sensor running at 14 frames per second and a line scan version that acquires 66,000 lines per second for images of up to 32 MP. The high pixel count allows large parts to be located and measured precisely from a distance, which suits robot guidance on big components, wide-area inspection and gauging. The vision tools include PatMax, PatMax RedLine, PowerGrid and Hotbars. The housing measures 53.4 x 60.5 x 121.0 mm, weighs 400 g, takes C-mount lenses and is rated IP67 with the lens cover fitted. It runs on 24 V DC and communicates over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, TCP/IP and RS-232.
