Cognex In-Sight 2800 Overview
The Cognex In-Sight 2800 is a compact 2D vision system with monochrome or color sensors from 720 x 540 pixels up to 2 MP (1920 x 1080) and an acquisition rate of up to 45 Hz. It is used for presence checks, sorting, assembly inspection and part location at robot and machine tending stations. Autofocus liquid lenses with 6.2 mm or 16 mm focal length and integrated LED lighting are built in, and a multicolor ring light with 8, 12 or 16 mm lenses is also offered. The IP67 housing weighs from 141 g, runs on 24 V DC at no more than 7.5 W and is programmed in In-Sight Vision Suite with EasyBuilder or the spreadsheet. It communicates over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, SLMP, OPC UA, TCP/IP and FTP.
