Cognex In-Sight 8000 Overview
The Cognex In-Sight 8000 is a series of ultra-compact 2D vision systems with monochrome and color sensors from 640 x 480 pixels up to 5 MP (2448 x 2048). Acquisition rates reach 217 frames per second in monochrome and 135 frames per second in color. The small body fits on robot arms and inside tight machine spaces for part location, alignment, inspection and code reading. The housings measure from about 31 x 31 x 72 mm to 35 x 32 x 76 mm, weigh 78 g to 192 g and take C-mount lenses. Power is supplied over Ethernet, and communication runs over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA and SLMP.
