Cognex In-Sight 7000 Overview

The Cognex In-Sight 7000 is a series of self-contained 2D vision systems with monochrome and color sensors from 640 x 480 pixels up to 5 MP (2448 x 2048). Acquisition rates run from 32 to 217 frames per second in monochrome and from 17 to 135 frames per second in color. The systems are used for part location and robot guidance, assembly inspection, gauging and code reading on production lines. C-mount, S-mount and autofocus lenses can be fitted, and integrated lighting is offered in red, white, blue or IR. The housing is rated IP67 with the integrated light or the lens cover, runs on 24 V DC and communicates over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, SLMP, CC-Link IE Field Basic and RS-232.
