Yaskawa DCI Server Overview
Yaskawa DCI Server is PC software that uploads and downloads Motoman robot programs and variables over DCI (Data Communication by Instruction), an online communication protocol developed for Motoman robots, with a built-in editor for changing robot variables in real time.
DCI Server lets a PC exchange jobs and data with a running Motoman robot. Variables of type byte, integer, double, real and position can be edited live from the built-in editor, or changed by an external application that writes to the XML variable database.
