UDMlc deserves consideration when a machine needs several low-power axes in a compact, coordinated group. Its strongest architectural case is the ability to consolidate drive axes while retaining ACS platform integration. The decisive tradeoff is configuration: a four-axis module does not have the same published maximum current per axis as the two-axis version. Match that distinction to the actual motor duty before comparing purchase prices.
