ACS UDI

Engineering Assessment
UDI is worth evaluating when an ACS control system needs to retain external amplifiers with a compatible analog command interface. The important purchasing distinction is between commanding a drive and powering a motor: UDI performs the interface role, while the external amplifier provides the motor power stage. A low-priced module therefore does not represent the total cost of an axis.
