Review Summary
Nano-CL merits evaluation when a supported camera can meet the required image within an existing or new Camera Link station. Reuse of hardware is useful only when its mode, cables and software are compatible with the exact order. Verify the complete inspection after replacement rather than assuming that a faster sensor leaves the old recipe unchanged.
Integration and Selection
The current M2420 and M2450 examples have different Camera Link modes and rates. Match receiver capacity and wiring to the ordered code. Conventional Camera Link should not be treated as Camera Link HS. Test sustained complete-image delivery and trigger association with the actual inspection processing and retained diagnostics.
