Tecnotion QTL 210, 230, 385 and 485 Torque Motors

Tecnotion QTL 210, 230, 385 and 485 are frameless, three-phase synchronous torque motors for direct integration into a machine axis. They share an open-center architecture but differ substantially in diameter, torque, inertia and cooling arrangement. The 230, 385 and 485 include a cooling ring that the machine housing must complete; these are motor components rather than complete supported rotary axes.

Applications and Industries
Tecnotion identifies rotary indexing tables, printing machinery, materials handling and related industrial machinery as QTL applications. Consider the motor for those mechanisms where the large bore and direct-drive topology fit the motion cycle. The machine still needs validated bearings, feedback, thermal management, guarding and control; these are selection possibilities rather than claimed ATC installations.

Review Summary
The QTL family is a strong candidate for an OEM rotary table, printing axis or handling mechanism where direct drive and a large center opening justify custom mechanical and thermal engineering. Choose the exact diameter and height against moving torque, holding torque and the full speed cycle. A 2202 Nm Ultimate headline does not describe continuous output, and a cooling ring does not constitute an installed cooling system.
