RoboDK TwinTool Overview
RoboDK TwinTool automatically calibrates an industrial robot's tool center point using an off-the-shelf LVDT linear gauge, as a lower-cost alternative to laser calibration services.
A wizard guides setup with no programming. Tool errors of 2 to 5 mm typically drop to about 0.25 to 1 mm, up to 0.25 mm in some setups, a 2x to 10x improvement. It supports spherical and conical tools and sensors from Mitutoyo, KEYENCE and Sylvac.
