Fives LPS-70A Linear Parcel Singulator Review Summary
Sorters need parcels one at a time, but trucks deliver them in heaps. The LPS-70A solves this without manual work: skewed rollers, friction belts and slides spread the flow, a side-by-side eliminator removes parcels travelling abreast and sends them round again on a recirculation loop, which also absorbs surges. It accepts bulk flow from several infeeds in any orientation and needs less accumulation conveyor than merge systems.
Pros
Fully automatic
Multiple infeeds
Surge buffering
Compact
Cons
No throughput figure
