Banner SX5 Safety Laser Scanner Review Summary
The SX5 scans 275 degrees, wider than the 270 of many rivals, and lets you store up to 70 zone sets so the protected area can change with the task or, on a vehicle, with speed. Three independent safety outputs allow separate reactions, and encoder inputs feed vehicle speed for automatic zone switching. Master and remote units share wiring, and the one-piece housing is compact. It works horizontally around machines, vertically at access points and on mobile vehicles.
