Banner RSr Remote Safety Relay Review Summary
The RSr puts a safety relay where the hazard is. It is sealed to IP67 with connectorized I/O, so it can sit next to a conveyor zone or a hydraulic valve. Two pulse-free 8 A outputs at 24 V DC can switch loads directly, and the circuits can reach Category 4, PL e and SIL 3. There is nothing to configure: no DIP switches, no software and no programming, with automatic or manual reset. It works with a safety PLC or with OSSD devices such as light curtains and e-stops.
