Sumitomo Servo 6000 and Cyclo Inline Servo Gearboxes

Servo 6000 applies Sumitomo’s cycloidal reduction architecture to a servo-motor input. The current Cyclo inline page distinguishes standard-backlash and low-backlash assemblies with different ratios, motor capacities and allowable peak-torque ranges. The reducer must be selected by full configuration rather than by the general Cyclo 6000 industrial-reducer name.
Key Specifications
Mechanism | Cycloidal reduction with selected servo input |
Standard-backlash ratio scope | 6:1–87:1 in current servo table |
Low-backlash ratio scope | 6:1–29:1 in current servo table |
Current low-backlash description | 6 arcmin;12 arcmin for 6:1 ratio |
Low-backlash peak-torque scope | 29.7–630 N·m across selected configurations |
Mounting | Selected foot, case or flange arrangements |
Ordering | Size, ratio, backlash, input fit, mounting and duty |
Applications and Industries
Industrial servo axes requiring a documented cycloidal reducer, shock-load scope and backlash class.
Industrial automation
Review Summary
Consider the servo gearbox where shock-load tolerance and a compact cycloidal transmission fit the axis. Compare ratio, backlash, elastic behavior and thermal duty using the actual servo configuration. Broad industrial Cyclo family maxima should not be transferred to the narrower servo table.
