SCHUNK SWS-005 Overview
The SCHUNK SWS-005 is a pneumatically locked quick-change system for robot tools with a recommended handling weight of 8 kg. It consists of a quick-change head on the robot and a quick-change adapter on the tool and allows automatic tool changes on small robots. Six M5 pneumatic feed-throughs supply the tool, and the air connections for locking and unlocking are M5. The coupling withstands moments of up to 37.5 Nm in Mx and My and 51 Nm in Mz.
