Konica Minolta ACIS Area Color Inspection System Overview
ACIS (Area Color Inspection System) combines machine vision text inspection with near-spectrometer color measurement, checking the quality, position and color of text, symbols and markings on small components in a single camera image.
Built around a ProMetric I imaging colorimeter with a proprietary dome light, ACIS measures many locations at once with 10 μm or finer pixel resolution and CIE-traceable color values. It targets electronics parts whose laser-etched or printed regulatory and brand markings must be correct before assembly.
