HaiClimber Review Summary
The HaiClimber is a different kind of machine from Hai's mast robots. It is a low vehicle that drives on the floor at up to 4 m/s, then climbs the racking itself at up to 1 m/s to fetch one tote and bring it down. Each robot carries less than an A42, but they are fast and can be run in fleets of up to 3,000, which Hai says puts a tote at the picking station within two minutes. The robot retrieves double-deep totes.
Pros
4 m/s on the ground
Climbs racking without lifts
Fleets of up to 3,000 robots
