DS Automotion OSCAR Review Summary
OSCAR is a low platform vehicle, 260 to 380 mm high, that slips under load carriers and lifts them 80 to 200 mm. The spin versions turn on the spot with differential drive; the omni versions move in any direction. Payloads are 1 t, or 1.25 t on the omni XL, at up to 1.6 m/s. Navigation is contour-based laser or SLAM with optional magnetic points, and 360° scanners protect people on most versions. It suits area chaining in production halls where processes are spread out.
