Review Summary
DMK 23GP031 is most relevant when documenting or maintaining an existing acquisition system and planning a validated replacement. Its five-megapixel rolling-shutter image can support a controlled scene, but the required motion and result timing must be tested. For a new machine, compare a current supported alternative before choosing legacy stock.
Integration and Selection
The legacy sheet lists up to 15 fps through GigE with model-specific PoE arrangement. Rolling-shutter acquisition requires attention to row timing when the target or camera moves. A trigger input does not turn the sensor into a global-shutter model. Validate the actual receiving hardware, supported output and full acquisition-to-decision timing.
