Swisslog CarryPick Review Summary
CarryPick is Swisslog's shelf-to-person system. Goods are kept on mobile racks in a dense floor area; KMP600 vehicles, developed with KUKA, drive under a rack, lift it and take it to a pick station. Nothing is bolted to the building except the stations, so Swisslog quotes complete installation in under six months, and the layout can change with the business. Because a swarm of identical vehicles does the work, the system keeps running if some are out of service. Leasing, renting and pay-by-pick are offered.
