Specim FX Series Overview

Specim FX is a hyperspectral line-imaging family. The catalog’s FX10, FX17 and FX50 models cover distinct spectral regions and cannot be reduced to one sensor or one image rate. Choose the model around the information needed by the material-inspection method.

Review Summary
FX merits evaluation when material distinctions depend on useful spectral information beyond ordinary RGB imaging. The camera contributes data; calibration, reference samples and analysis produce an accepted decision. A hyperspectral label does not guarantee that any two materials can be separated under arbitrary illumination and presentation conditions.
Integration and Selection
Line imaging ties acquisition to the material’s motion. Select spatial sampling across the field and along transport, then verify the reconstructed geometry through normal speed variation. Spectral capture and output rate should remain attached to the exact model and selected bands. Measure receiving, analysis and position-correct actuation together.
