SOMANET Circulo 9
About SOMANET Circulo was the world’s first integrated motion device and set the standard for collaborative robot joints. Circulo 9 is the 92 mm size for higher torque axes, combining a servo drive, up to two absolute encoders, brake control and certified functional safety in a single hollow-shaft device. That removes the control cabinet from the machine and puts motion intelligence directly into the axis. Consider Circulo when the joint architecture benefits from local drive electronics and a central cable route. Select the 7 or 9 from the actual continuous load, transient duty and mechanical envelope. In particular, the family’s 60 A RMS headline belongs to Circulo 9 peak phase current; it is neither Circulo 7 capability nor Circulo 9 continuous current.
