KNAPP Open Shuttle Review Summary
Open Shuttles are KNAPP's free-navigating transport robots. They find their way by SLAM, without lines or markers, and avoid obstacles using 3D detection. The family covers three kinds of load: the 50/100 carries containers and cartons up to 120 kg, the Fork carries pallets and racks up to 1,500 kg, and the ASG handles magazines, reels and tray stacks up to 50 kg for electronics production. All run for seven to eight hours and recharge in about an hour. They meet ISO 3691-4 and speak VDA 5050.
Pros
Three models from 50 kg to 1,500 kg
SLAM navigation without infrastructure
7 to 8 hours of runtime
VDA 5050 and ISO 3691-4
LiFePO4 batteries
Who It Is For
It fits warehouses and factories that want flexible transport between areas, especially alongside other KNAPP systems.
