JVL MAC050 to MAC141 Classic Integrated Servo Motors

JVL MAC050, MAC095, MAC140 and MAC141 are the classic compact MAC integrated servo motors. Each combines a brushless motor, encoder, amplifier and motion-control electronics, with an expansion module defining the required communication and application functions.
Key Specifications
Reviewed classic models | MAC050, MAC095, MAC140 and MAC141; MAC00 denotes expansion-module naming, not these motor sizes |
MAC050 | 46 W; 0.11 Nm rated RMS torque; 0.32 Nm peak |
MAC095 | 92 W; 0.22 Nm rated RMS torque; 0.62 Nm peak |
MAC140 | 134 W; 0.32 Nm rated RMS torque; 0.90 Nm peak |
MAC141 | 134 W; 0.48 Nm rated RMS torque; 1.59 Nm peak; different speed/torque selection |
Drive supply | 12–48 VDC; available speed and torque depend on voltage |
Classic encoder basis | 1,024 PPR physical incremental encoder; 4,096 counts/revolution |
Module choices | Basic, programmable, fieldbus, high-speed multi-axis and wireless categories |
Environmental selection | Protection depends on both basic motor and selected module |
Applications and Industries
Compact low-voltage positioning and machine-adjustment axes, especially installations with a defined classic MAC motor and expansion-module ecosystem.
Industrial automation; positioning machinery; dispensing systems; compact machine axes
Review Summary
The classic MAC family is a candidate for a compact machine axis or an existing installation built around JVL expansion modules. Select the motor and module together. The three source-list entries for the smaller motors are covered here as distinct configurations, while the newer MAC083 and MAC140-F/MAC141-F generations remain separate products.
