Fronius SeamTracking Overview
Fronius SeamTracking is a seam tracking function of the TPS/i welding power sources for robotic welding. While the robot weaves the torch across the joint, the function evaluates the change in welding parameters over each oscillation and corrects the seam path during welding. This compensates for clamping and component tolerances. SeamTracking works with dip transfer, spray and pulsed arcs and in combination with CMT or TWIN.
