Review Summary
Mako G is worth evaluating for a compact GigE acquisition arrangement with a specified host. The current list includes models from a small fast field to a much denser slower image. For example, G-040 and G-1242 have different sensors and operating points. Their maxima cannot be combined into one camera specification or an inspection throughput claim.
Integration and Selection
Test exposure, trigger handling and complete GigE receiving at the selected representation. Network topology, host adapters and other traffic can change image completeness. Budget buffering and processing alongside the camera. A listed acquisition rate identifies a model point; it is not evidence that the final station makes accurate decisions at the same cadence.
