Photoneo MotionCam-3D Color
The Photoneo MotionCam-3D Color is a 3D camera based on parallel structured light that captures moving objects at up to 20 frames per second with submillimetre accuracy.
Most accurate 3D cameras for robots need the scene to stand still while they project a sequence of patterns. The MotionCam-3D avoids this with a patented method, parallel structured light, that builds the 3D image from a single exposure. The result is a camera that can scan parts on a moving conveyor or look from a moving robot arm, at up to 20 fps and at object speeds the maker gives as up to 144 km/h. It also resists ambient light, including direct sunlight. The line comes in six sizes from close-up to long range.
