Meridian Laboratory ROTOCON MXV High-Voltage and Wireline Slip Rings
ROTOCON MXV transfers configured high-voltage power and electrical signals across a rotating boundary. Meridian Laboratory also offers wireline versions for cable reels, with dedicated connector and flange arrangements. These are related configurations rather than interchangeable part numbers: voltage, channel count, current, terminations and mounting must be selected together.
Review Summary
Consider MXV for an electrical rotary connection above the ordinary M-series voltage range, particularly where a wireline reel needs a defined mounting and connector interface. Its strongest selection advantage is the availability of model-specific electrical tables. The principal limitation is that higher voltage, more channels and a familiar connector do not automatically preserve another model’s current rating.
