LMI Gocator 4000
The LMI Gocator 4000 series is a family of smart 3D coaxial line confocal sensors with shadow-free measurement, X resolution from 1.8 µm and scan rates up to 36 kHz.
Sensors that view the surface at an angle leave shadows beside tall or steep features. The Gocator 4000 sends and receives light along the same axis, so it sees into holes and beside steps and measures slopes of up to 85 degrees. Lateral resolution reaches 1.8 µm, finer than any other Gocator line, at rates of up to 36 kHz. The field of view is tiny, 3.45 mm or 5 mm, and the sensor weighs about 10 kg. This is a tool for semiconductor packages and miniature electronics.
