Güdel EP 1-Axis Gantry
The Güdel EP is a modular single-axis gantry with rack-and-pinion drive in sizes EP-3, EP-4 and EP-5, with maximum payload forces of 1,300 N, 3,100 N and 8,000 N.
The EP is the simplest member of the range: one beam, one carriage. It carries more than the same size of multi-axis gantry because there is no vertical axis to support: 1,300 N on the EP-3, 3,100 N on the EP-4 and 8,000 N on the EP-5 in high-load tuning. In high-dynamic tuning the EP-4 reaches 200 m/min. Repeatability is ±0.02 mm.
