What Happened

At the end of 2024 both the parent company, Kivnon Global, and the main operating company, Kivnon Logistica, entered insolvency proceedings. In early 2025 a commercial court in Barcelona awarded the productive unit and the subsidiaries to CAP Capital, a fund that specializes in providing liquidity to technology companies. The court preferred its offer to a competing one from a shareholder of the racking company Mecalux, which would have kept 58 jobs.
The old companies are being liquidated, but the business continues under a new company.
