CASE is particularly important for automation leaders whose work is closer to industrial systems, operations, scheduling, manufacturing analytics, logistics, and smart factories than to robot hardware alone. It is a research-heavy complement to trade shows such as Automate and SPS.
CASE 2026 is one of the three flagship conferences of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and provides a primary forum for multidisciplinary research in automation.
