Zivid 3 XL250
The Zivid 3 XL250 is a long-range 2D+3D camera for large robots, with 8 MP resolution, a working distance of up to 4.5 m, capture of a full pallet in under 500 ms and IP65 protection.
Earlier Zivid cameras were made for bin picking at one to two metres. The Zivid 3 XL250 takes the same approach, colour and 3D from one sensor with high trueness, to pallet scale: it sees a pallet of 1.2 by 1.2 m stacked 2.3 m high and captures it in under half a second. It uses a laser light source with thermal stabilization and is eye-safe without protective equipment. Protection is IP65, with ratings for shock and vibration that suit mounting on a robot.
