Zimmer Group GEP2010
The Zimmer Group GEP2010 is an electric 2-jaw parallel gripper with a stroke of 10 mm or 13 mm per jaw and a gripping force adjustable in four levels from 50 N to 200 N. It is designed for small-parts handling and assembly, where a compact gripper with a mechanical self-locking mechanism has to hold the workpiece even if power is lost. Closing takes between 0.19 s and 0.42 s, and the repetition accuracy is ±0.02 mm. The gripper weighs 0.30 kg to 0.48 kg, is rated IP40 or IP54 in the long-stroke version, and meets cleanroom class ISO 2. It runs on 24 V and is controlled through IO-Link or digital I/O over a single cable.
