WEISS LP 2D Linear Portal
The WEISS LP 2D linear portal is a plug-and-play gantry built from HN and HL linear motor axes with up to 1,000 mm horizontal stroke, 450 mm vertical stroke, 8 kg payload, absolute measuring and fieldbus interfaces including OPC UA.
The LP covers larger work areas than the HP module: up to 1,000 mm horizontal and 450 mm vertical stroke with up to 8 kg payload. HN and HL linear motor axes provide direct drive, and an absolute measuring system means no reference run after power-up. It ships fully configured from a few inputs: strokes, load and interfaces. Fieldbus interfaces include OPC UA, and W.A.S. 2 software packages are supported.
