The Symbotic Distribution Solution automates a distribution centre from inbound depalletizing through native-case storage with SymBots to smart mixed-pallet build up to 260.4 cm tall in 3.7 to 7 minutes, handling cases from 5.1 x 16.3 x 12.7 cm to 91.4 x 61 x 41.2 cm and 0.5 to 27.2 kg.
Inbound robotic cells remove slip sheets, singulate and orient cases and check for damage, and a floor-loaded inbound cell unloads unpalletised trailers. Cases are stored in their native packaging by SymBots, sequenced in real time and built into mixed pallets up to 260.4 cm tall in 3.7 to 7 minutes, with stacking that considers weight, shape, centre of gravity and crushability, and wrapping during build. BreakPack adds partial-case orders. Symbotic claims 99.99% accuracy, 9x throughput and 60 to 80% labour cost reduction; these are company figures.
