PowerStore stores pallets in deep lanes served by shuttles and lifts, with no aisles for trucks. Swisslog states up to 60% more pallets in the same space than a manual warehouse and up to 200 pallets per cell per hour. Low carriers are said to allow industry-leading lift heights, though no figure is given. The system works from -30 to 50 °C, which covers frozen food, and more than 25 are in use.
