SMC MHS3
The SMC MHS3 is a three-finger parallel pneumatic gripper with a round body, available in ten bore sizes from 16 mm to 125 mm, with an external gripping force per finger of 14 N to 1,270 N at 0.5 MPa and a repeatability of ±0.01 mm. A wedge cam mechanism moves the three fingers concentrically, which suits centring and gripping round workpieces from the outside or the inside. The opening/closing stroke ranges from 4 mm to 32 mm in diameter. The gripper weighs between 60 g and 6,460 g and runs double acting on unlubricated compressed air at up to 0.6 MPa and -10 to 60 °C, at up to 60 cycles per minute.
