SICK PLOC2D
The SICK PLOC2D is a stand-alone 2D robot guidance sensor that locates parts by shape comparison with an accuracy of +/-0.5 px and +/-0.1 degrees. It finds the first part in under 0.5 s and each further part in under 100 ms, and sends the X and Y position and the rotation directly to the robot controller for picking from belts, trays and feeders. The compact version has a 1.3 MP imager (1,280 x 1,024 px), an integrated 17.1 mm lens with electrically adjustable focus and a working distance of 300 mm to 1,500 mm. Its housing measures 71 x 43 x 35.6 mm, weighs 170 g and is rated IP65. The sensor is set up through a web browser and communicates via TCP/IP, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP.
